Wings Food Fest is back & we’re involved again

This summer Wings Food Fest is back, and we have a superb line-up of wingtastic activities for you to enjoy over the weekend of July 20, 21 & 22 2018This weekend food festival is dedicated to the loved and mighty chicken wing and includes over 15 top-notch wing pop up’s who will be serving up some of the mightiest, hottest, finger-lickin’ chicken wings going.

pc | productions designed, developed and created the PR, marketing and digital strategy for the festival. We designed the website and also executed the social media engagement since in inception in 2016.

So what’s Wings Food Fest all about…

Due to popular demand our famous wing eating competitions are back – how many wings can you eat against the clock and ‘how hot can you go’ with our hot wing eating competition!! If you are not up to stuffing your face of hot wings try winning some free wings over at our Wing a Roo – ‘Spin a Wing’ on the bandstand or try out our new Bingo Wing Tent!

Again this year we’re on the hunt for the best chicken wings in our ‘Wing-Off’. We’re asking people around the country to nominate their favourite venue that serves wings. You have until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, July 8th to nominate your favourite wings.

After that, we’ll compile all of your suggestions. The venues with the most nominations will be put in a poll of semi-finalists, where the public will help us narrow it down a list of finalists. These finalists will go head to head in our final on Sunday, July 22nd. You can nominate now via our website: www.wingsfoodfest.com.

We are not all about the Wings – we’ve got an awesome line-up which includes the Seafront fun fair, over 30 street food and craft markets, live music and DJ’s spinning top rock anthems and some classic 80s tunes. Wing Food Fest has got something for all ages so bring the whole family and the best part is it is free entry!

This year we will be launching on Friday, July 20th with an evening of wings with rocking music from 6 pm; then daily from 10 am on Saturday, July 21st and Sunday, 22nd.

Wendy Walsh from Wings Food Fest said “The Wing Food Fest is an absolute must for chicken wing lovers, we have some succulent wings, entertaining competitions and a great music line-up for you to enjoy! All we need now is for the heatwave to continue into July.”

Soak up the summer sunshine (fingers crossed) and spend an entire weekend eating chicken wings… head to Bray on Friday, July 20th, Saturday, July 21st and Sunday, July 22nd.
