The site and its digital network were launched back in 2011 as part of the Bray Town’s Economy Think Tank outputs. 

BETT (Bray Economic Think Tank) was an economic forum established in 2009 to create a sense of local pride and community spirit and to promote Bray as an ideal place to live, work and do business.

The website has helped boost Bray’s image, showcase its tourism offer, culture and the experiences people can’t get elsewhere – as well as highlighting the many places to shop, eat, drink and relax in.

Cllr Pat Vance, Cathaoirleach of Bray Municipal District said: ‘We are delighted that has reached its one million visitor milestone. It is a true testament to our team’s dedication and shows that our online community engagement strategy through is effective.’

‘We are so lucky to have a passionate digital marketing team who have provided a very effective engagement programme. Last year they helped build stronger relationships with the local community, stakeholders, and potential visitors reaching out to over 3.4 million users.
